Stubby, you suck!
Tomorrow, kids and kittens.
For Halfway Hanukkah, I think its time to unleash the goof. One thing I like about Hanukkah is that its not really a major holiday on the Jewish calendar. Therefore, there's license to have a little bit of fun (did you know that there is no word in the Jewish language that translates precisely to "fun"? There is "keyf" in Hebrew, but that comes from Arabic. Just a little education for you.).
Stubby, you still suck!
To take the sting off of the whole "tomorrow" thing, this, too, is new and cool but unfortunately not available and poorly recorded (probably on a smartphone). Aimee Mann and Ted Leo (The Both) are in the midst of their Christmas shows this month. Recently, they were joined on stage by Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles. Susanna being Jewish (and a Bangle), they reworked "Walk Like An Egyptian" into a Hanukkah song--"Nesh Gadol Haya Sham". I think the public is going to demand this be recorded and released professionally. While we wait for the groundswell to reach critical mass, enjoy what we have.
