Periodically, we've been looking back at some of our favorite records from last year. And this was #1 on my list. I've really been meaning to do a full-length review. My words just seem so inadequate. Matt Andersen is primarily known, at least to me, as a modern interpreter of country blues, but "Spirit of Christmas" showed so many more facets of this diamond.
