Best news in weeks!
Yes! It's Los Campesinos! With a 6 song 12" vinyl Christmas record! "A Los Campesinos! Christmas" features their earlier holiday singles (the bloody brilliant "A Doe To A Deer", the beautiful "The Holly & The Ivy" and, of course, "Kindle A Flame In Her Heart") and three (what I assume are) all new Christmas recordings, one of which is a cover of Mud's "Lonely This Christmas".
Along with The Killers, Los Campesinos! are rewriting the definition of "classic Christmas music" (and I mean that in the best possible way). The 12" drops overseas on November 17. Sadly, we'll have to wait until December 9 in the states. I'm guessing the record will also be available digitally.
