2. When Santa Comes
3. I Love Christmas And You
Sure, it was cute when the Beatles recorded holiday messages every year from 1963 to 1969. But The Flashcats have been recording original Christmas music every year from 1981 to this one. That's 31 years of original Christmas music. 31 YEARS! Some of you haven't even been alive for that long. The Pittsburgh area band first came into a national spotlight when their Lou Bega take-off, "December Twenty 5", was included on the Rhino collection "Mambo Santa Mambo". Last year, the Flashcats released a 4-disc 100 song retrospective of their Christmas records (now sold out). So, this year, they're taking it a little easy and just doing the download thing. That's "free download" to you and me. The Flashcats Christmas music covers a lot of ground (obviously). The Pop Rock band has made Christmas songs in just about every musical genre possible. They've done the sweet, the funny, the good, bad, and ugly. And there have been a ton of topical tracks and song parodies. Now, if you're just now discovering the Flashcats, your collection is going to have some holes as a lot of their Christmas records have sold out. No worries on this year's though and, while you're at it, download Flashcats Christmas Record #28--"Wii Wish You A Merry Christmas"--also a free download.
