The California Indie Rock band Lakes is made up mainly of former members of Watashi Wa and I am happy to learn that because I loved Watashi Wa and always wondered what became of them. They had a couple of great Christmas songs several years ago. So here they are again--Seth Roberts and a few of the old gang--in a new band but with the same old Christmas addiction. Ah, that makes me happy. "Christmas Day" is a solid Indie Rock tune and yours for the price of your email addy. Head to the group's web site or use the widget.
