BFW is an eclectic Internet label.  Largely known for some of the fine Ambient music they've released, everything in the BFW catalog is available for free download.  Last year, BFW decided to do a Christmas album and it really was one of the unexpected treats of the year.  So they decided to do one this year, as well.  The 2011 collection is largely Ambient music, but not entirely.  Magic Mountain's "Lantern Light", for example, provides a nice change of pace.  As for my favorites, it's always nice to hear from the Bing Satellites and Cousin Silas' "Bight Star" is very pretty in a Vangelis-meets-Vince Guaraldi kind of way.  But my absolute fave from the set, without question, is "Dance Of The Abandoned Snowman" which sounds completely Christmasy without any of the musical cliches.  You can download this one direct from BFW or from the Internet Archives.
