Free Jazz yesterday. Free Blues today. Life is good. True enough, it's bar band Blues Rock and, true enough, it's several years old. But its got horns and a mean harmonica and its free. And, hey, video. Sorta. Life is good.
"Santa's Back" comes to us from the pride of Rhode Island, J. Slick & The Funk Munks. I thought I'd tracked this tune back to 2003, but it actually goes allllll the way back to 1991. J. Slick appears to have had a few self-issued albums that never found their way to Amazon or CD Baby or iTunes. It does appear that J. Slick has an awful lot of music you can download freely at Last FM...including this funky Christmas record (part of the "Slick's Picks" collection). I'll take it, thank you very much.
